Where every engagement starts
A fixed-fee audit that documents your environment and hands you a plan you keep — whether or not you hire us.
Not ready for that yet?
Automated, takes about a day, and needs nothing installed on your systems. No obligation and no sales call attached. If it comes back clean, we'll tell you that.
Request the free scanThe scan tells you what an attacker can see. Groundwork tells you what you actually have. Most clients do the scan first.
Why we do this first
Most IT providers quote a monthly figure without ever looking in your wiring closet. They're guessing, and the guess gets corrected later — usually upward.
Scope
Deliverable
A written report, not a sales deck. You keep all of it — take it to another provider if you'd rather.
Diagrams, inventory, and configuration notes you can hand to anyone.
Sorted into urgent, soon, and eventually — with costs against each item.
What could go wrong, how likely it is, and what it would cost you.
Process
Most single-location engagements run about a week end to end.
Fifteen minutes to confirm how many locations and roughly what's there. We quote a fixed fee from that.
We walk the site where we can, and gather what we can remotely where we can't.
We put the findings together, check them, and write the report.
We take you through it and answer questions. No obligation to do anything about it.
The fee
Based on how many locations and how complex the environment is. No surprises added later. If you start a managed plan with us, the fee comes off your first invoice. If you don't, you've still got the report.
In that case don't buy an audit — call us and we'll quote the fix. Groundwork is for when the picture itself is unclear.
Next step
Fifteen minutes, no charge. We'll tell you whether Groundwork is worth doing — or whether the free scan is the better place to begin.
